நம்முடைய சில முக்கியமான கோப்புகளை பாதுகாக்க பல முறைகளை கையாளுவோம். அந்த வகையில் ஏதேனும் ஒரு போட்டோவின் பின்புறத்தில் நம்முடைய கோப்புகளை மறைத்து வைக்கலாம்.சாதரணமாக அந்த கோப்புகளை ஓபன் செய்தால் போட்டோ மட்டுமே தெரியும். அதற்கு பின்னால் இருக்கும் உங்களின் கோப்புகள் தெரியாது. Winzip,Winrar ஆகிய மென்பொருட்களில் ஓபன் செய்தால் மட்டுமே பின்புறத்தில் உள்ள கோப்புகளை பார்க்க முடியும். 1. இதற்கு முதலில் நீங்கள் மறைக்க விரும்பும் கோப்புகளை மொத்தமாக Compress செய்து கொள்ளுங்கள். 2. அடுத்து கீழே உள்ள தரவிறக்க சுட்டியை க்ளிக் செய்து மென்பொருளை உங்கள் கணனியில் தரவிறக்கி கொள்ளுங்கள். 3. இந்த மென்பொருளை நிறுவ வேண்டியதில்லை. தரவிறக்கம் செய்தவுடன் நேரடியாக இயக்கலாம். 4. அந்த மென்பொருளை ஓபன் செய்து கொள்ளுங்கள். அதில் picture என்ற கட்டத்தில் உங்களின் ஏதோ ஒரு படத்தை தேர்வு செய்து கொள்ளுங்கள். 5. அடுத்து Compressed file என்ற இடத்தில் நீங்கள் compress செய்து வைத்து இருக்கும் பைலை தேர்வு செய்து கொள்ளுங்கள். 6. Output Picture file என்ற இடத்தில் ஒரு jpg கோப்பை தேர்வு செய்து இதில் நீங்கள் மேலே Picture பகுதியில் கொடுத்த அதே கோப்பை கூட தேர்வு செய்து கொள்ளவும். அப்படி கொடுத்தால் Replace செய்ய வேண்டும் என்ற செய்தி வரும் அதில் Yes கொடுத்து விடுங்கள். 7. இப்பொழுது நீங்கள் அந்த மூன்று கட்டங்களையும் நிரப்பியவுடன் அங்கு உள்ள Ok கொடுத்து விடுங்கள். 8. அந்த OK பட்டனை அழுத்தியவுடன் உங்களுடைய கோப்புகள் மறைக்கப்பட்டது என செய்தி வரும். அதை OK கொடுத்து வந்திருக்கும் உங்கள் கோப்பை சாதரணமாக ஓபன் செய்து பாருங்கள். 9. வெறும் படம் மட்டுமே தெரியும். பின்னால் இருக்கும் நம் கோப்புகள் யாருக்கும் தெரியாது. அதை Winzip அல்லது Winrar மென்பொருட்களில் ஓபன் செய்தால் மட்டுமே அந்த போட்டோவின் உள்ளே இருக்கும் கோப்புகள் தெரியும். அதை நாம் உபயோகித்து கொள்ளலாம். 10. இது போல் நம் கோப்புகளை வைத்தால் யாருக்கும் சந்தேகம் வராமல் நம் ரகசியமாகவும், பாதுகாப்பாகவும் வைத்து கொள்ளலாம். தரவிறக்க சுட்டி

This post provides descriptions of the registry entries for policies that you can apply to the Start menu in Microsoft Windows XP.


The settings on Start menu is controlled by the registry values under the registry key,
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer

Here, we can create a D-WORD registry value for a setting, that has values 1 (enable) or 0 (Disable).
That is, for a setting such as, for Run in start menu, NoRun D-WORD is used. Setting its value to 1 will remove Run from Start menu, Task Manager etc. And setting the value to 0 will show Run in respective areas.

Below are the D-WORDs and its description.
All this D-WORDS must be created under the key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer (except in those case which has given its on path) to take effect.(you may need to restart)
To create a D-WORD, after getting to the above key, right click in an empty space and select New > DWORD Value.

Warning :
Serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly by using Registry Editor or by using another method. These problems might result you to even reinstall your operating system. You must Export the key before you make any changes.Modify the registry at your own risk.

Example: For the above policy (Remove user name from Start Menu) , create a D-WORD and name it NoUserNameInStartMenu. Set its value to 0 for showing and to 1 for hiding the User name in Start menu.

Command Prompt Disable செய்வது எப்படி?

Use this method to enable the Command Prompt.


There are three methods: (Or download file from bottom)

Method 1: (Run method)

1. Select Run from Start menu.
2. Type the following: (better copy and paste)
REG add HKCU\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\System /v DisableCMD /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f
and press Enter.(Click OK)



Method 2: (Registry Editor method)
1. Open Registry Editor.
2. Get to this key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\System

3. In the right pane, double click on DisableCMD and set it's data to 0.
4. Close Registry Editor.

Method 3: (Group Policy method)

1. From Start menu, select Run. Type gpedit.msc and press Enter.
Group Policy editor opens.
2. Get to:
User Configuration > Administrative Templates > System
3. From the right pane, double click open Prevent access to the command prompt.
4. Set Disable and click OK.
5. Exit Group Policy editor.

1. CMD- enable. (.rar file, extract to get .reg file)

You can make your shut down process a bit faster by the following tweak.


Steps: (download the registry file)

1. This step is very important.
Export (right click > Export) the following keys and save it to a safer place.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control

2. Open Notepad, copy and paste the following to the Notepad.

My Computer யை கிளிக் செய்து Right click செய்து வரும் விண்டோவில் Device Manager கொண்டுவருவது எப்படி?

By doing this trick, you can access the Device Manager by a single click from the right click menu of My Computer.

Steps:

 ஐகான் மீது வலது கிளிக் செய்து காஸ்பர்ஸ்கை இன்டர்நெட் செக்யூரிட்டி ஐ செலக்ட் செய்யவேண்டும் . பின் லைசென்ஸ் கிளிக் செய்து வரும் விண்டோவ்வில் உள்ள கோடுஐ டிலிட் செய்ய வேண்டும். படம் பார்க்க    

பின்பு செட்டிங்க்ஸ் என்ற பகுதிக்கு சென்று அங்குள்ள Enable protection என்பதை டிசெலக்ட் செய்து பின் self-defence என்ற பகுதியில்  Enable self-defence என்பதை டிசெலக்ட் செய்து apply கொடுத்து ஓகே கொடுக்க வேண்டும். படம் பார்க்க  
அதன் பின்பு காஸ்பர்ஸ்கை இன்டர்நெட் செக்யூரிட்டி ஐ எக்ஸ்சிட் செய்ய வேண்டும்.  பின் Kaspersky 2011 Crack.exe என்ற பைல்ஐ ரன் செய்து பின்வரும் வழிமுறைகளை பின்பற்றவேண்டும் . கடைசியாக  டிசெலக்ட் செய்த Enable protection & Enable self-defence ஐ enble செய்யவேண்டும் .

குறிப்பு : ட்ரியல் வேர்சின் லில் அப்டேட் செய்த பின் மேற்கண்ட வழிமுறைகளை பின்பற்றவும்.

01 .விண்டோஸ் பூட் ஆகும் நேரத்தைக் குறைக்க அதன் லோகோ வருவதைத் தவிர்க்க start->run->msconfig->ok (or)enter.

என்டர் செய்தவுடன் மேலே உள்ள விண்டோவில் boot.ini கிளிக் செய்யவும். பின் /NOGUIBOOT என்பதை கிளிக் செய்து apply & ok கொடுத்து ரிஸ்டார்ட் செய்து பார்க்கவும்.  


௦௨.சில போர்ட்களை நாம் பயன்படுத்தாமலே வைத்திருப்போம். இவற்றின் இயக்கத்தை நிறுத்தி வைக்க மைகம்ப்யூட்டர் கிளிக் செய்து வலது கிளிக் செய்து ப்ரோபர்டீஸ்( properties ) என்பதை கிளிக் செய்தவுடன் கீழே உள்ள விண்டோ ஓபன் ஆகும் .

  மேலே உள்ள படத்தில் காணப்படும் போர்ட்களில் தாங்கள் எந்த போர்ட் பயன்படுத்தாமல் உள்ளிர்களோ அதை கிளிக் செய்து வலது கிளிக் செய்து disable என்பதை கிளிக் செய்யவும்.                              (எ . கா) நான் எனது  கணினியில் bluetooth pan networkadapter யை  disable செய்து உள்ளேன் .
இதுபோல் உங்கள் கணினியில் உள்ள போர்ட் லிஸ்டில் காம் போர்ட் மற்றும் எல்பிடி போர்ட் disable செய்யலாம் . தாங்கள் Dot Matrix Printer பயன்படுத்தினால் உங்கள் கணினியில் உள்ள போர்ட் லிஸ்டில் காம் போர்ட் மற்றும் எல்பிடி போர்ட் disable செய்ய வேண்டாம் .

கணினியை வேகமாக பூட் செய்ய வைப்பது எப்படி?

உபயோகமான தகவல்களை தந்துள்ளீா்கள் ரமேஷ். சிஸ்டம் புட் ஆகும்போது என்னென்ன புரோக்ராம்கள் மட்டும் இயங்கினால் போதும். தேவையில்லாத புரோக்ராம்கள் இயங்குவதை நிறுத்துவது எப்படி. ஏனெனில் பல புரோக்ராம்கள் ஸ்டார்ட் ஆனவுடன் இயங்குவதால் கணிணி புட் ஆக அதிக நேரம் ஆகிறது என கேள்விப்பட்டேன். இதற்கான பதிலை பதிவு செய்யுங்கள் ரமேஷ்

பதில் : திரு கலிராஜன் கேட்டு கொண்டதால் இன்று கணினியை வேகமாக பூட் செய்ய  வைப்பது  எப்படி? என்று பார்ப்போம் .

பல கணினிகள்    பூட் ஆகும்   போதோ அல்லது   ஸ்டார்ட் ஆகும் போதோ நிறைய நேரம்    ஆகும்,    இதற்கு        பல          காரணங்கள்    உள்ளன.   கணினியில்    உள்ள  இயங்குதளத்தில்   சில மாற்றங்களை செய்வதன்  மூலம் நாம் கணினியை வேகமாக பூட் செய்யவோ அல்லது ஸ்டார்ட் செய்ய வைக்க  முடியும் .

பதிவின் நீளம் கருதி சுருக்கமாக எழுதுகிறேன்.

01 .முதலில் ஸ்டார்ட் -> ரன் -> msconfig  என்று டைப் செய்ய வேண்டும். பின் வரும் ஸ்டார்ட் அப் விண்டோவில் உள்ள லிஸ்ட் அப் ப்ரோக்ராம்மில் காணும் ms-office, messengers other utilities போன்ற ப்ரோகரம்களை டிசெலக்ட் செய்ய வேண்டும்.
முக்கியமாக ஆண்டி வைரஸ் மென்பொருளை டிசெலக்ட் செய்யவேண்டாம்.

தமிழ் புரியாதவர்கள் கிழே உள்ள ஆங்கில பதிவை பார்க்கவும் . 

1. Press start->run then type msconfig and press enter.
Go to the startup tab. Here you will see a list of startup items. These are all the programs that automatically start when you boot your PC. It is these that slow down the boot up process.
So uncheck all the unwanted items like ms-office, messengers other utilities that u may not need at startup). Don't uncheck your antivirus software.
Restart your Pc to and see for yourself, your pc will now boot faster....

2. A great new feature in Microsoft Windows XP is the ability to do a boot defragment. This places all boot files next to each other on the disk to allow for faster booting. By default this option is enabled, but on some systems it is not, so below is the information on how to turn it on:
Go to Start Menu and Click Run
Type in regedit then click ok
Find "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Dfrg\BootOpt imizeFunction"
Select "Enable" from the list on the right
Right on it and select "Modify"
Change the value to Y .
Reboot your Pc and see the change yourself.
விண்டோஸ் வேகம் பெற இருபது வழிகள் :

விண்டோஸ் சேப் மோட் ஏன் ? எதற்காக ?

மிக எளிதான திறனுடன் கூடிய கம்ப்யூட்டர் பயன்பாட்டினை வழங்குவதில் விண்டோஸ் இயக்கம் எப்போதும் முதல் இடத்தில் உள்ளது. ஆனால் சில வேளைகளில், இது ஏமாற்றத்தைத் தரும் சிஸ்டமாக அமைந்துவிடுகிறது.

குறிப்பாக, சில புதிய சாப்ட்வேர் அப்ளிகேஷன்களை இன்ஸ்டால் செய்வதற்காகவும், ஹார்ட்வேர் சாதனங்களை இணைப்பதற்காகவும், புதிய ட்ரைவர்களை இணைத்து, கம்ப்யூட்டரை ரீஸ்டார்ட் செய்தால், கம்ப்யூட்டர் தொடர்ந்து இயங்காமல் முரண்டு பிடிக்கும்; அல்லது கிராஷ் ஆகும்.

உடனே நாம் கம்ப்யூட்டரை மீண்டும் இயக்குவோம். ஆனால் திடீரென புதிய தோற்றத்தில் கம்ப்யூட்டர் திரை காட்சி அளிக்கும். நான்கு மூலைகளிலும் Safe Mode என்ற சொற்கள் காட்டப்படும். இது என்ன?

வழக்கமான முறையில் இயக்கத்தினைத் தொடங்க முடியாமல் விண்டோஸ் தத்தளிக்கையில், விண்டோஸ் தான் இயங்க ஒரு எளிய வழியைத் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கிறது. விண்டோஸ் இயக்கத் தொகுப்பில் அல்லது வேறு இடத்தில் எத்தகைய தவறு நேர்ந்துள்ளது எனக் கண்டறிய, விண்டோஸ் தானாக வழங்கும் ஒரு வழி இது.

இந்த வழியைக் கண்டறிந்து சரி செய்த பின், இதனை மீண்டும் இயக்கினால், விண்டோஸ் வழக்கம்போல தனக்கு வேண்டிய வழியில் இயங்கத் தொடங்கும். விண்டோஸ் சேப் மோடில் இயங்குகையில், வழக்கமான இயக்கம் இல்லாமல், மாறுபாடான சில வழிகளைக் கையாள்கிறது. அவை என்னவெனப் பார்க்கலாம்.

1. சேப் மோடில் autoexec.bat அல்லது config.sys பைல் இயக்கப்பட மாட்டாது.

2.பிரிண்டர் மற்றும் ஸ்கேனர் போன்ற பல துணை சாதனங்களுக்கான டிரைவர்கள் இயக்கப்படாமல் இருக்கும். இந்த ட்ரைவர்கள் தான், அந்த துணை சாதனங்களுக்காக கம்ப்யூட்டருக்கு அவை குறித்து அறிவித்து, இயங்குவதற்குத் துணை புரிபவை.

3. வழக்கமான கிராபிக்ஸ் டிவைஸ் ட்ரைவருக்குப் பதிலாக, சேப் மோடில் ஸ்டாண்டர்ட் விஜிஏ கிராபிக்ஸ் மோட் பயன்படுத்தப்படும். இந்த வகை கிராபிக்ஸ், விண்டோஸுக்கு இணையாக இயங்குகின்ற அனைத்து வீடியோ கார்ட்களையும் சப்போர்ட் செய்திடும்.

4. config.sys script பைலின் ஒரு பகுதியாக லோட் செய்யப்படும் himem.sys என்னும் பைல், சேப் மோடில்testmem:on என்ற ஸ்விட்சுடன் இணைத்து தரப்படும். இந்த ஸ்விட்ச், கம்ப்யூட்டருக்கு, இயக்கத்தினைத் தொடரும் முன் அதன் மெமரியை சோதனையிடச் சொல்லி நினைவூட்டும்.

5. விண்டோஸின் மற்ற பைல்கள் எங்கு உள்ளன என்பதற்கான தகவல்களைக் கண்டறிய, சேப் மோட் msdos.sysஎன்ற பைலைச் சோதனையிடும். இந்த பைலைக் கண்டறிந்த பின்னரே, சேப் மோடில் விண்டோஸ் லோட் ஆகும். அப்போது win /d:m என்ற கட்டளையைப் பயன்படுத்தும். விண்டோஸ் பைல்களைக் கண்டறிய முடியவில்லை என்றால், command.com என்ற பைலை இயக்கும். இதன் மூலம் சி ட்ரைவில் கமாண்ட் ப்ராம்ப்ட் இயக்கப்படும்.

6. விண்டோஸ் வழக்கமாக system.ini என்ற பைலுக்குப் பதிலாக, system.cb என்ற தொகுப்பு (batch) பைல் ஒன்ற இயக்கும். இந்த பைல் அனைத்து விர்ச்சுவல் டிவைஸ் ட்ரைவர்கள் (Virtual Device Drivers – VxDs) என்று அழைக்கப் படும், சாதனங்களை இயக்குவதற்கான ட்ரைவர் பைல்களை லோட் செய்திடும். இதுவே கம்ப்யூட்டரின் முக்கிய பாகங்களுடன் தகவல் பரிமாற்றத்திற்கு உதவிடும்.

7. சேப் மோடில் வழக்கமான system.ini பைலுடன் win.ini மற்றும் Registry செட்டிங்ஸ் லோட் செய்திடும். அப்போது பூட் மற்றும் சார்ந்த வரிகளை விலக்கிச் சென்று செயல்படும். மேலும் win.ini பைலில் பட்டியலிடப்பட்டுள்ள எந்த புரோகிராமையும் இயக்காது.

8. விண்டோஸ் டெஸ்க் டாப் 16 வண்ணங்களில் லோட் ஆகும். இதன் ரெசல்யூசன் பிக்ஸல்கள் 640 x 480 என்ற வகையில் இருக்கும். “Safe Mode” என்ற சொற்கள் ஒவ்வொரு மூலையிலும் காட்டப்படும். தன் முதல் முயற்சியில் இயங்க முடியவில்லை என்றால், விண்டோஸ் தானாக, சேப் மோடில் இயக்கத்தைத் தொடங்குகிறது.

நாமும் சேப் மோடில் கம்ப்யூட்டரை இயக்கலாம். கம்ப்யூட்டர் இயக்கத்திற்கான ஸ்விட்சை இயக்கியவுடன், தொடர்ந்து பூட் மெனுவின் போது F5 அல்லது F8 என்ற கீயை அழுத்தி சேப் மோடுக்குக் கம்ப்யூட்டரைக் கொண்டு வரலாம்.

சேப் மோடில் கம்ப்யூட்டர் இயங்கினால், நாம் என்ன செய்ய வேண்டும். முதலில், கம்ப்யூட்டரை வழக்கமாக பூட் செய்திட இயலாமல், எது தடுத்தது என்று கண்டறிய வேண்டும். ஏதேனும் புதியதாக, ஒரு ஹார்ட்வேர் சாதனத்தினை இணைத்திருந்தால், கண்ட்ரோல் பேனல் சென்று அதனை நீக்கவும்.

அதற்கான ட்ரைவர் தொகுப்பு இன்ஸ்டால் செய்யப்பட்டிருந்தால் அதனை முழுமையாக நீக்கவும். நீக்கிவிட்டு மீண்டும் கம்ப்யூட்டரை இயக்கிப் பார்க்கவும். விண்டோஸ் வழக்கம்போல இயங்கத் தொடங்கினால், அந்த சாதனத்தின் ட்ரைவர் பைலுக்கும், விண்டோஸ் இயக்க பைலுக்கும் பிரச்னை உள்ளது என்று அறிய கிடைக்கும்.

இதே போல ஏதேனும் கேம்ஸ் இன்ஸ்டால் செய்திருந்தாலும், நீக்கிப் பார்க்கவும். கண்ட்ரோல் பேனலில் Add/Remove Programs மூலம் நீக்கலாம். பிரச்னை புதிதாக இணைக்கப்பட்ட சாதனம் அல்லது சாப்ட்வேர் மூலம் இல்லை என்றால், உங்கள் விண்டோஸ் ரெஜிஸ்ட்ரி ஏதோ ஓர் இடத்தில் கெட்டுப் போயிருக்கலாம்.

ரீ பூட் செய்வதன் மூலம் ரெஜிஸ்ட்ரி தானே சரி செய்து கொள்ளும் வாய்ப்பு உண்டு. ரெஜிஸ்ட்ரி பைலை அண்மைக் காலத்தில் பேக் அப் செய்து வைத்திருந்தால், அதனை, இந்த ரெஜிஸ்ட்ரி பைல் உள்ள இடத்தில் காப்பி செய்து இயக்கலாம். இல்லையேல் விண்டோஸ் இயக்கத்தினை மீண்டும் இன்ஸ்டால் செய்வதனைத் தவிர வேறு வழியில்லை.
