Microsoft Corporation released a test build of Windows 8, focused on application developers. Operating system Windows 8 will replace its predecessor, Windows 7, the market home and office operating system. Modernization were the main functions of the operating system, a new interface that focuses on touch screens (the functional and conventional screens), has its own application store Windows Store, supported ARM-processors. The new OS is loaded within 8 seconds.

New available for download and testing for everyone, but primarily addressed to a third-party application developers so that they can optimize the software for Windows 8. Despite the fact that this version is quite functional, it should not be used in everyday work. Ordinary users will be interesting to see the innovations and test a new interface with 3D-graphics, known as Metro.

Those who have already downloaded and tried the test assembly, positive feedback on the overall stability of this version and its good compatibility with third-party programs. However, as with any beta, there are shortcomings, and so there may be faults in the system.

Memory 1 GB for 32-bit and 2 GB for 64-bit system.
16 GB of free disk space for 32-bit and 20 GB for 64-bit system.
Graphics card that supports DirectX 9 and WDDM 1.0 or higher.
Touch screen with multi-touch input for use.
Resolution at least 1024x768 or higher to run Metro applications.
